U&Väven – stay in the city central cultural hub in Umeå

Väven is the new cultural hub in Umeå. A single building complex housing interacting cultural and activities and experiences. The vision of Väven (The Weave) is to host northern Scandinavia’s leading venue for meetings and culture.

As a guest at U&Me hotel you’re staying in the heart of this venue. The indoor square, which is the first thing that meets you as you enter the building, houses the city library, theatre and music stage, a cinema, restaurants and cafés, exhibition halls and meeting rooms. The indoor square is your lobby and the Väven complex is part of your hotel experience.

Väven officially opened in 2014 – the year that Umeå held the title of European Capital of Culture.
